My main thing right now is the Gypsy Rhythm Project, the result of some traveling I did in Romania and Turkey and my fascination with Gypsy, Romanian and Balkan music. We cover some Arabic music too, and we feature musicians from countries whose music we play. At our last concert we had the pleasure of playing with Nicolae Feraru, an ethnic Gypsy from Romania who defected to the USA in 1988, during the grave troubles in his country.

I'm starting work soon on a film score for Rus Blemker and Cathartic Entertainment. The film is tentatively titled Cognitive Cocktail. It's a psychological drama about a filmmaker obssessed with a particular moment in time, and his attempts to edit its history. Filming starts in June, and preproduction is already under way.

I'm developing this website. The design and navigation is done, and I'm working on content. There's a lot I want to include and it's hard to find time to actually get the work done!
